ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. (WALA) – Officials with the Florida Highway Patrol have released information regarding their investigation into an accident that happened early Saturday morning.
According the FHP officials a vehicle collision occurred on SR-292 and River Road in Escambia County Florida. Officials say that a vehicle traveling east on SR-292 struck 2 pedestrians. The two people were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the vehicle was not injured in the accident.
No further information has been released. This accident is being investigated by the FHP.
