CHENNAI:Sundaram Home Finance(SHF), a wholly owned subsidiary of Sundaram Finance, has expanded with four branches for the emerging business (EB) segment in northTamil Nadu.
The branch inaugurated at Arani on Monday marks the 50th branch of the segment, the company said in a statement. “We expect the next set of 50 branches to come up outside Tamil Nadu and a lot faster than the first 50 as we move into a growth phase in the EB segment,” its MDD Lakshminarayanansaid.
Outside the state, the company is looking to expand in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
The segment comprisessmall business loansof up to Rs 20 lakh for small shops and businesses and affordable housing finance with loans of up to Rs 35 lakh.
