Meghan Markle’s new Netflix lifestyle series has officially been renewed for a second season coming this fall.

This week the Duchess of Sussex launched her brand new Netflix show ‘With Love, Meghan’ where she gives fans a look inside her life in Montecito, California. In the series, Meghan invites famous friends to join her in a lavish estate where she shares her passion for cooking and dishes on all of her favorite recipes, gardening, and hosting tips.

And after the success of her first eight episodes, PEOPLE has confirmed that she will be back with even more at the end of this year. After the premiere of her new project, Meghan’s series shot to the top of charts ranking in the top 5 most-watched shows on Netflix in the U.S.

According to the news outlet, season two of the show has already been filmed and was also directed by the talented Michael Steed. The series marks Meghan’s first solo project for Netflix and is a part of the multi-year deal she and her husband Prince Harry signed with the streaming service in 2020 for an estimated $100 million.

After the news of Meghan’s show renewal, users wasted no time taking to Reddit to share their thoughts. One critic wrote: “It’s like Netflix is just giving her the shovel at this point. A second season will not help her, it means nothing and is just giving all of her critics, hate-watchers and sinners eight more hours of reasons to laugh at her. If they are doing a second season they better Tiger King it. Stop with all the quick edits and show the real interactions Meghan is having with her guests. While someone else chimed in: “I blame the hate watchers. But oh well. At the end of the day, more often than not, evil prevails.” And another critic added: “Damn it, hate watchers! I guess Netflix leaned into the kardashian-ness of it all. It’s a bloody mess but one that people watch to make memes about.” While someone else countered: “If it has already been filmed, hate watchers had nothing to do with it.”
