The marriage of Fulwell 73 and SpringHill Co. is complete.

Fulwell Entertainment is the name of the overarching banner led by the Fulwell 73 partners – Ben Winston, Leo Pearlman, James Corden, Ben Turner and Gabe Turner — and Springhill’s Maverick Carter and LeBron James. Jesse Collins Entertainment is also under the umbrella; in 2022, Fulwell invested in the company led by the prolific TV event producer, who has juggled Oscar, Emmy, Grammy, BET Awards and a string of Super Bowl Halftime shows, including 2024’s outing with Usher and 2023’s memorable aerial stunt with Rihanna.

Fulwell and SpringHill reached an agreement to join forces in a merger of equals in November. No money changed hands, but both sides brought in investment into to rev up the enlarged firm. A representative for Fulwell declined to comment on the deal closing.

The new partners previously named Carter and Pearlman as co-CEOs. The company has offices in Los Angeles, New York, London and Sunderland in the U.K.

Fulwell Entertainment sets sail during a busy month for its banners, with Sunday’s Grammy Awards telecast produced for CBS by Winston, plus the Season 6 premiere of Hulu’s “The Kardashians” on Feb. 6, followed the next day by “The Lion King at the Hollywood Bowl” concert special for Disney+. SpringHill has a new season of NBA series “Starting 5,” BET+ scripted series “Churchy” and music doc “Take That” now in production, among other projects.

The SpringHill name will be nurtured as a consumer brand with the umbrella company, as will SpringHill’s lifestyle and content labels Uninterrupted and The Shop and the brand consulting wing known as Robot. SpringHill’s level of activity in the latter area was a big reason why Fulwell was interested in joining forces with SpringHill. Uninterrupted championed the 2024 Roku documentary “A Radical Act: Renee Montgomery,” about the pioneering WNBA player turned team owner and executive of the league’s Atlanta Dream.

Fulwell’s unscripted label Bitachon365 has been busy with docu series and the Supernova Music Festival feature doc “We Will Dance Again,” as well as a film about fitness influencer “The Liver King” for Netflix’s “Untold” franchise. Jesse Collins Entertainment turned heads on Dec. 25 with the Beyoncé Cowboy Carter halftime show produced for Netflix’s inaugural telecast of two NFL games. Outside of the live realm, Collins is shepherding a primetime revival of “Hollywood Squares” for CBS with host Nate Burleson and center-square star Drew Barrymore.

The merger creates a company that is active in unscripted content, documentaries, live events, scripted TV and film, branded content and commercials. Carter and Winston, who have been friends for 10 years, first began discussing a possible deal a little more than a year ago after a casual dinner meeting. The two realized that their companies had complementary strengths and that both would benefit from having a more diversified revenue base.

SpringHill was repped in the transaction by Main Street Advisors as well as Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. Fulwell 73 was advised by London-based NewShore Partners as well as law firms Frankfurt Kurnit Klein & Selz for U.S. legal and tax matters and Wiggin and Saffreys for U.K. matters.
