New Horizons Band seeks members

The 2025 season of the Flathead Valley New Horizons Band begins March13.  

The ban welcomes any adult who is interested in learning a wind or percussion instrument or anyone who would like to return to playing an instrument they played previously.  

The band meets on Thursdays from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Snappy’s in Evergreen. Those interested check out the band or call 406-260-8539 and leave a message.  

Community band concert

The Flathead Valley Community Band will present its tribute concert “A Night on Broadway” on March 19 in the Flathead High School Auditorium, 644 4th Ave. W., Kalispell.   

The program begins at 7:30 p.m. The band is under the direction of Allen Slater.  

 With music from some of Broadway’s biggest hits such as “The Sound of Music,” “Fiddler on the Roof,” “Les Miserables,” and more, this concert promises music that everyone knows and loves.    

There is no admittance charge for the concert but there will be a free will donation to help cover the cost of the concert. There will be a reception in the commons following the concert.
