PHOENIX (AZFamily) — It’s going to be a warm weekend and week ahead of us!
High pressure will continue to dominate the weather pattern and bring warmer-than-normal temperatures this weekend and into the work week.
The average temperature for this time of the year is 68 degrees. Temperatures look to climb 10 to 15 degrees above normal.
We’re looking at a high temperature of 80 degrees Sunday (the record is 82 degrees), and mid-80s Monday and Tuesday (the record Monday is 84 degrees, the record Tuesday is 85 degrees).
Overnight lows will also be warmer than normal. Expect morning temperatures in the 50s for the next few days.
It is looking like we will have the perfect weather to kick off the WM Phoenix Open this week with mostly sunny skies with dry conditions.
Temperatures will cool a few degrees mid-week, into the mid to upper 70s Wednesday through the upcoming weekend.
